Jr High

For 7th & 8th graders,Junior High Youth Ministry exists to supplement and expand upon the excellent education our 7th and 8th graders are receiving in the Catholic school and/or Faith Formation classes. This is accomplished through a variety of events throughout the year with the main emphasis being on the monthly junior high youth group, Activate.

Sr High

Check out the Veritas Winter Retreat video on You Tube. This year's retreat is FEB 10-12. REGISTER TODAY! Veritas Winter Retreat Confirmation is not graduation from the Church, nor is it graduation from learning about the faith. Though our youth group is highly catechetical, we do offer 2 tracts during the academic year to allow interested 10th – 12th grade teens to intellectually engage the Church and her teachings in a more formal environment.

**Need info for the upcoming Confirmation events? Dowload our Spring Newsletter 12. Welcome Confirmation 2011-2012 Students. Our first class will be on September 21, 2011, 6:30 - 8:00pm in the St. Mary's Great Hall. We ask that on the first night you bring a parent or guardian with you. We will be discussing the year and it will be important for them to be there to share that information with. If you cannot bring a parent or guardian, we still want you there. 16th Annual Ray Sayers Memorial Golf Tournament – July 16, 2012

The time is quickly approaching for the 16th Annual Ray Sayers Memorial Golf Tournament. This tournament is held in remembrance of Raymond D. Sayers Sr., whose leadership and vision was the foundation from which our current youth ministry program, St. Croix Catholic Faith Formation, has grown. And The Survey Says!!!!!

We are thrilled to have had over 38% of our families with students in grades Prek-9 participate in our Faith Formation Survey. Overall we were very pleased with the results. Among the many highlights, 81.5% of respondents gave our overall programming a rating of 1 or 2 where 1 was the highest score. We also received many wonderful suggestions and helpful comments. Our Goals

St Croix Catholic Youth Ministry (SCCYM) exists to engage the hearts and minds of all 7 - 12th grade students of St. Mary, St. Michael and St. Charles parishes in Stillwater and Bayport. Through learning, discussion, prayer, sacraments, recreation, media and service, young people are invited to encounter Jesus Christ in and through the teachings and sacramental life of the Catholic Church. SCCYM offers a wide variety of opportunities focused on engaging and transforming the modern youth culture: Youth groups, Retreats, Mission trips, Lock-Ins, Bible Studies, Men's and Women's ministries, "Great Books" discussion groups, Steubenvile Catholic Youth Conference.
Class Cancellation Policy

If due to severe weather or other reasons class needs to be cancelled, please check this area of our website for closure information. St. Croix Catholic Faith Formation follows the District 834 school closure notifications. So, if the District 834 schools have cancelled for the day, so then will the Faith Formation classes.
